Massage Techniques
Swedish massageSwedish massage is a technique in which the therapist lubricates the skin with massage lotion and/or essential oils and performs various massage strokes.
These movements warm up the muscle tissue, releasing tension and gradually breaking up muscle "knots" or adhered tissues called "adhesions." A Swedish massage promotes relaxation among other health benefits. Due to the photosynthesizing effects of essential oils, do not use a tanning bed for 48 hours following a massage. If you plan on tanning, tell us at the beginning of your massage and no essential oils will be used. |
ReflexologyReflexology is a system of treatment based on the idea that points on the feet and hands correspond with other parts of the body. Pressure applied to certain areas of the body can treat pain from other parts of the body.
